Can I use the Tattoo Aftercare Balm on a brand new tattoo?

Yes, the product page covers both fresh and existing tattoos. On a new piece, it seals in moisture and calms the skin while it heals. On older work, it keeps the ink looking sharp by maintaining the skin around it.

Is this balm suitable for all skin tones and ink colours?

Per the product page: yes, all skin tones and all ink colours, bright pigments and deep blacks both. Plant-based formulas without synthetic dyes or heavy fragrances tend to sit well on tattooed skin without interfering with pigment.

How does the Tattoo Aftercare Balm compare to the BIGWASP Cream?

Both moisturise healing skin. The balm is plant butter and oil-based – richer, stays on the skin a bit longer before absorbing. The BIGWASP Cream is lighter and faster to absorb, with a non-greasy finish. Very dry skin or cold weather: lean toward the balm. Warmer conditions or oilier skin: the cream.
